And wait, there's more food!!

DAY 2

Taiwan has been awesome and im waking up at an awfully ungodly hour (to me) haha. like 7am! but its pretty alright because i slept at 11pm on the first day. sleeping at 11pm was wonderful, its been a long time since i managed to turn in at that time. but still you know.. 11pm to 7am aint 9 hours, and im a 9 hours sleeper. haha! anyhoo i caught up on alot of lost sleep on the bus journeys!

So after waking up so early, and helping myself to the hotel's buffet breakfast... (of cuz!) we proceeded on to our itenary for the day!! after a long long long bus ride - we FINALLY arrived!

This place in taiwan holds this rock called the Queens Crown. and many other rocks which have formed into funny weird shapes and sizes because of all sorts of winds, sea water and what nots. that is geography - get people like syaza and cindy to explain, IM A HISTORY PERSON (which is why im blogging this so at least i can read thru my archive for keeps sake, wahaha!)

The scenary is pretty awesome (: the weather was good, windy and sunny. its hard to imagine my flight got pushed back by a day because of the typhoon!

So these are mushroom looking stones. amazing yeah? ok, i need to take geography lessons again. i do remember platelets and what nots shifting. haha.

This is another type of stone thingy or formation thingy or whatever appropriate name there is for this. its pretty awesome, in the ground filled with water and all. its cool what sea water can do, ehhhh? ;)

This statue of a boy is supposedly looking out and after for children around the area. before this area had this Queens Crown, there were quite a number of deaths in this area so this statue is said to protect them and serve as a memorial for them.

IM ON A LOOK ON FOR YOU GUYS!!! ((:

Oh yes, and one should stay within the red lines because theres as far as the waves can reach. apparently the waves here are massive and they're sudden, there was a case a few years back when a group were taking pictures and there was this teacher who stood below and halfway while being photographed, got washed out away by a massive wave. so this red line thingy was implemented :S

TADAH! the Queen's Crown..... oops, wrong angle. (this is the right side of the stone)

THE QUEEN'S CROWN. amazing right? (this is the left side of the stone) this is why they say art is alot about individual taste and appreciation. if i had only seen it on the right side, i'd never second guess that it was jus another ordinary rock that was shaped by ome sea water.

Anyhooo, experts estimate that the Queen's Crown is gonna be done in 3-5 years time. so hurry your ass down to taiwan if you wanna see it. well, if the pictures on my blog suffice then.. :) (p/s: my mom looks stern doesnt she? rocking those armani shades, fierceeeee! haha)

All in all, that was the jest of it all. and my uncle commented..
Uncle: "WHA... take 1.5 hours bus journey jus to see rocks!" =.=

Next up was another hour up to some lover bridge. whatever! haha. there was nothing much to see :(

BUT it was way too windy and sunny...!

See what i mean? haha!

FINALLY, it was FOOOOOOOOOOD!!! (there'd be less text because i think the pictures will speak for themselves!) YOU GLUTTONS!

Fishball noodles at this mini restuarant, apparently a must try!

Another must try, prawn rolls from Ah Gei.

Theres some meat filling in them. I SWEAR, either my photography skills have improved or that my camera is human and it knows its delicious and it wants to eat tooooo! :D

TALL TALL TALL ice cream.

It aint really nice though, but its cool to try and photograph right? haha. its vanilla taste is rather different from the normal creamy vanilla but i guess its cause if its too creamy it'd melt pretty fast.

Imagine 7 people sharing this, HAHA! so you know lahh, the damage is done to the tall standing ice cream and all i had was a bite. hehe, share the calories and saving the rest for better yummy calorie worthy food!

Freshly made peanut thingy, it is niceeee :p

I have to be this mean, for all those muay ji (aka mochi) lovers, I BOUGHT 2 BOXES. now, beg me. haha! :P

We headed to this wholesaler retail market after that and i didnt do some mean ass shopping but i did some kick ass reck-key-ing and i found out alot about the reasonable price to bargain for and all :P apparently tour guide said cut the price down by 30% and all. i got 2 good buys and many different ideas on how to dress for this season of Fall. its Fall right? haha! im going back there friday to do some shopping again and use my fashion eye to see anything nice that suits my ladies!! ((:

Lastly it was RaoHe night market. pretty cool place with awesome food too. packed back quite a bit to the hotel and you know how hungry people get so theres not much pictures of the spread we had :) hehe!

But heres some.. like...

This japanese flour egg vegetarian thingy.

Fried Chicken (: you know taiwan's famous for this right? (p/s: i tried the most famous one in the ShiLin night market on day 3 which is today and boy... it was yummy!)

And me being me, i ventured out alone back out to XiMenDing night market to check things out! haha, it was alot of kick ass walking and i swear...

The Taiwanese seem to be crazy about these machines!!!

I made my last pit stop at this 7-11ish shop called Family Mart and check this out...

My new found friend. NOW - who knew mentos had the flavour fuji apple and did not tell me? i happen to be a fuji apple fan by the wayyyyyy! (:

Enough blogging now.. im feeling sleepy and although i can sleep in tomorrow i guess its always good to attempt to wake up early yeah? THIS POST TOOK ME LIKE AN HOUR AND A HALF OKAYYYYY! (p/s: none of the pictures are photoshopped, so really, its as good as it gets!) hehe. sweet dreams people, day 3 tomorrow!
